Koe: The Kickstarter

Hello! I’ve finally launched the Kickstarter for Koe. It would be awesome if you guys could come and back the project and give me some feedback on it. Everything you need to know about what I want to do during the future of Koe is available on the Kickstarter page, so come and take a look!

  1. Hey, I run a gaming blog/podcast and I was wondering if we could help get word out about Koe! It seems like a really awesome idea and we’d love to help you promote it, maybe do an interview with you, etc.
If you’re interested shoot me an email at press at igamer dot ca

  2. EXCELLENT idea. I posted a quick story here:

Drop me a line at some point and as above, I’ll give you coverage as the project moves onward. I like the current art style (although it’s early, I know), so I say keep something similar as the builds progress. I’d also love to test this out as it progresses as well (if possible).

Anyway, I see you’re about halfway funded already – awesome. My Vita is rumbling from the potential portable version, so I hope you blow past your target and can make this a reality.

Finally, how tricky would it be to go cross-buy/cross play on the PS3/PS4? or get a Wii U version made if you end up with the funds?

I think many of us supported this game because of the language of Japanese or love RPG in general. Probably one of the hardest languages to ever learn. If we can have fun learning Japanese, then I am in. Many of us are trying but over time we stop because of the amount there is to learn.

I know this would be a great supplement to learning and great starting point.

Being an RPG lover(exclusively to Console/Handheld) and desire to learn Japanese, I will pick this up if it releases on the Vita.

I don’t like to play on PC or Steam(procrastinate from playing)….too many distractions.

Hello. Nice to hear about projects from fellow CS and Japanese learners. I also aspire to make a game myself. What is the programming language for the project? If it is C based, then I might be able to help a little bit on the data structures if needed. The thing that I would want above other things at this time is experience. If you are interested, please shoot me an email.
